Part-Time Bookkeeper
Our client, a non-profit, is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to support their New York office. This role starts asap and will last for about 1-2 months.
Schedule: 9am - 5pm, 3 days a week
*Onsite Tuesday and Thursday and remote on Wednesdays
Responsibilities:
- Handle bank reconciliations, record journal entries, invoices, payments and receipts to QuickBooks Online
- Utilize Excel for account reconciliations
- Reconciliation of deposits to bank
- Tracking AMEX spend, following up on open balances, processing payments
- Tracking invoices and spend vs budget for Day of Service (DOS) activity
- Ad hoc tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with QuickBooks and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases and accounting software
- Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
