Account Manager
Our client, a wholesale home goods, beauty and accessory company, is seeking an Account Manager to join their team in NYC!
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage client accounts while building strong, long-term relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Maximize sales profitability, growth and account penetration with current accounts
- Analyze and identify market trends to assess opportunities
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an Account Manager or relevant role
- Experience with off price and club accounts highly preferred
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field
- Must be able to work in an entrepreneurial environment and be a self-starter
- Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel and Powerpoint)
$75k-$120k depending on experience.
This role is full time in office, 5 days a week.
