Executive Assistant
A private equity firm headquartered in New York City, with an expanding national footprint, is hiring for an Executive Assistant to join their team. As they continue to scale, they are seeking a high-performing Executive Assistant to join the New York team and support a senior level group. This is a newly created position offering visibility across the firm and significant potential for future growth.
The Role
As Executive Assistant you will provide direct administrative and operational support to a Partner, Principal, and VPs. You’ll be a key member of a small, high-functioning admin team and will work from our NYC office Monday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Fridays.
Compensation: $110-125k base + discretionary bonus
Key Responsibilities
• Complex calendar management and scheduling across multiple time zones
• High-volume domestic and international travel coordination
• Expense processing and reconciliation (Concur or similar)
• In-office meeting and event coordination
• Light personal support for one of the Partners (e.g., personal travel, dinner reservations)
• Ad hoc administrative tasks and support as needed
Who You Are
• Experienced: 5+ years in an executive assistant or high-level administrative role, preferably within financial services or management consulting
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Skilled at juggling multiple priorities with precision and poise
• Professional & Polished: You represent the firm with a high degree of professionalism in all interactions – both internal and external
• Proactive & Independent: A self-starter who can anticipate needs and take initiative without constant oversight
• Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Flexible: Willing and able to work in-office Monday–Thursday and come in on Fridays if needed
• Bonus Points: Spanish language skills, a bachelor’s degree, and interest in growing into a project coordinator/manager role over time
