Children's Wear Designer
Our client, a high-end women's brand is looking for a Children's wear Designer to join their team!
Requirements:
- Prior experience designing for a children’s apparel brand.
- Familiar with compliance, safety standards, and regulations for children’s clothing.
- Ability to handle full design process: CADs, tech packs, and sizing.
- Focus on older toddler to tween age range (2–11 years old).
- Comfortable working at a small to mid-sized company, wearing multiple hats.
- Ability to design using existing fabrics and prints from the main collection.
- Excited to build and launch a new kidswear category from scratch.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional children's apparel design experience.
- Strong technical skills in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and tech design tools.
- In-depth knowledge of children’s sizing standards and garment construction.
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong communication skills to work across design, production, and leadership teams.
