Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever received and from who?

A: “Today is the tomorrow you were worried about yesterday, and all is fine.” I think it is a Bob Marley quote, so I’m not sure if someone ever told it to me or if I read it somewhere. Regardless, every time I worry about something for the next day, I remember the truth in this quote. It’s not worth worrying about tomorrow because it all ends up fine in the end.

Q: What’s the best way to tell your current team that you’re moving on to another opportunity?

A: Be honest, as long as your honesty is professional and polite. I also recommend going over any positive feedback that you’ve received during your time. It’s important to always give at least two weeks’ notice. This world is too small to burn bridges, so be honest, respectful, and give your team enough notice so they aren’t scrambling.

Q: What’s your favorite vice or secret indulgence?

A: Gummy bears and red wine—usually combined together.

Q: Best place for a last-minute interview outfit?

A: Zara! The store is in almost every mall, so you can find one close by. You can always find affordable, trendy, and professional clothing there.

Q: What keeps you motivated?

A: Helping candidates find their dream jobs and clients find their dream staff! When this happens, it’s an extremely rewarding experience. Finding the perfect pairings motivates me daily and is what keeps me going.
