HR Manager - Luxury Hospitality Group

Our client, a luxury hospitality group, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join their team in New York.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Head of HR on new strategies and initiatives.
- Work closely with the VP of Operations and COO on all local HR activities.
- Ensure that HR operations, policies, and procedures are implemented and adhered to and continually improved.
- Implement corporate policies and put in place local policies and procedure for salaries, benefits and incentives.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices.
- Manage communication of key messages, business strategies, vision & brand values to all employees.
- Responsible for the accurate record of information such as payroll, personal details, leaves and attendance.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensure the Company’s compliance.

Qualifications:
- Proven background and progression in Human Resources specifically within hotels and restaurants.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable experience.
- Strong knowledge of New York employment law, including unionized environments.
- Highly skilled in problem solving and decision making.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop employees.
- Must possess strong communication and listening skills, excellent speaking, reading and writing skills in English. All additional languages are a plus (Spanish & Italian preferred).
- Financially savvy with the ability to improve the bottom line.
- Well versed with technology and new efficient ways of working.
