Personal/Family Assistant
An entertainment industry professional is seeking an experienced Personal/Family Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. This role is ideal for a dedicated career personal assistant who is content with the PA/FA position long-term, without seeking to transition into another role. The position does not require EA duties or travel, but demands someone who is highly organized, capable of managing appointments and daily errands independently, with minimal need for direction.
The candidate will also oversee other staff, ensure timely purchases and returns, and manage all personal tasks with discretion and efficiency. A "no ego" attitude and a hands-on, team-oriented mentality are essential. Prior experience working with high-profile families is required.
Schedule: Full-time, 8 hours daily. Must be available Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM, with flexibility for after-hours support as needed.
The position is onsite in the Calabasas/Woodland Hills area.
Compensation: $80K - $120K annually, plus health insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the House Manager to prioritize household projects.
- Manage the principal’s personal calendar, coordinating with the Director of Business, nannies, and other team members.-Schedule appointments for the principal (e.g., glam, doctors) and monitor future appointment needs.
- Run errands, including purchasing gifts and picking up food.
- Assist with holiday and birthday party planning, tracking important dates, and handling gifts.
- Coordinate with nannies to manage children’s appointments and ensure the principal's attendance.
- Keep track of the children’s school events and commitments, communicating them to nannies and the principal.
- Serve as the point of contact for the children's and principal’s activities, including liaising with schools, doctors, etc.
- Open and log mail and packages.
- Ensure the principal’s personal items are organized and stocked, including cars and bags.
- Plan and book travel arrangements.
- Assist with packing and unpacking for trips, ensuring all belongings are accounted for post-travel.
Experience/Qualifications:
- A 4-year college degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of personal assistant experience is required.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of being trustworthy, discreet, detail-oriented, and resourceful, with strong organizational skills and the ability to anticipate the principal’s needs.
- Must pass an extensive background and credit check and provide multiple references.
