Real Estate & Business Trial Attorney – West Los Angeles

A growing West Los Angeles boutique law firm specializing in commercial real estate and business litigation seeks an experienced Trial Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in complex real estate and business litigation.

Key Responsibilities‍

• Lead and manage real estate and business litigation cases from inception through trial and appeal
• Handle a diverse caseload including contract disputes, property rights issues, commercial leases, zoning and land use matters, partnership disputes, and corporate litigation
• Develop and execute comprehensive trial strategies
• Conduct legal research
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and appellate briefs
• Take and defend depositions
• Negotiate settlements and participate in mediation/arbitration
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on risk management and dispute resolution in real estate and business transactions
• Stay current with changes in real estate and business laws

Qualifications‍

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the California State Bar
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience, preferably with a focus on real estate and business litigation
• Demonstrated success in handling real estate and business disputes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range is 250-275k, commensurate with experience and specialization
