Finance Team Coordinator – Global Hedge Fund

A global hedge fund is hiring for a Finance Team Coordinator to support the Accounting and Tax teams. This is a great role for a candidate with strong administrative and coordination skills and experience working in financial services.

SALARY commensurate with experience: $85k - $100k base + paid overtime + discretionary bonus + fully paid benefits and excellent perks

HOURS:  8:30am to 5:30pm, flexibility as needed

LOCATION: Stamford, CT – HYBRID in office 4 days, 1 day remote

Responsibilities include:
• Process incoming invoices and expenses (using Workday, Outlook and Excel)
• Assist with audit confirmation process
• Monitor the daily team’s inboxes
• Assist with vendor onboarding and contracts
• Coordinate document signatures and preparation of PowerPoint presentations
• Assist with AMEX and UBER corporate programs  
• Assist with tax mailings, filings, and scanning, and tracker maintenance
• Assist with monthly expense report submission tracking and follow up
• Help with managing tax payments/refunds and review for accuracy

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience, Financial Industry experience is required
• Proficient in handling large volumes of data across various systems with high accuracy. • Familiar with data validation and quality control methods
• An undergraduate degree is required with a strong GPA
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize/work in an environment with competing demands
• Proficient knowledge of Excel and Workday experience
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Team-orientation: ability to work collaboratively within the Finance and Accounting teams
