Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management
• Take the reins of the Company's financial operations and lead a high-performing team, including a Controller, Staff Accountant, and an Accounting Team of six based in India.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, professional growth, and collaboration across departments, ensuring seamless communication between operations and accounting teams.
Operational Oversight
• Drive the successful execution of high-end residential home construction projects (budgets exceeding $30M) and commercial tenant improvement projects.
• Optimize processes using tools like Procore and Yardi, ensuring efficiency and top-tier project delivery.
Financial Management and Strategy
• Partner with the CEO to manage budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting while ensuring compliance and maximizing profitability.
• Develop and execute strategic financial plans to support the company’s growth and sustainability.
Client Relations
• Act as a trusted point of contact for our elite clientele, consistently exceeding their expectations.
• Build and nurture relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with affiliated Investment & Asset Management Company to align commercial construction projects with broader property management goals.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
• Design and monitor KPIs to track operational and financial performance.
• Provide regular updates to the CEO, highlighting company achievements, challenges, and opportunities.
• Use data-driven insights to implement continuous improvements across the organization.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of executive leadership experience in the construction or property management industry.
• Expertise in Procore and Yardi (or comparable construction software).
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and foster a collaborative, positive work culture.
• Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
