Analyst, Business Development

Our client, a leading private equity firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and data-driven Analyst, Business Development to join their dynamic team in Hermosa Beach. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, have a passion for Excel and data management, and demonstrate exceptional organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:
‍

Business Development Reporting
• Build and maintain weekly, quarterly, and annual reports critical to business development and investment activities.
• Aggregate and analyze updates on the active deal sheet and present findings during deal flow meetings.
• Manage and enhance the investment database (Salesforce), consolidating data from public and private markets.
• Prepare and deliver bespoke reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for senior leadership.‍

Special Projects and Research
• Support Investor Relations with requests related to quarterly reporting, annual meetings, and other initiatives.
• Identify and qualify attendees for investment banking and industry conferences.
• Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies for in-person and virtual events.
• Analyze investor portfolios for potential opportunities.‍

Public Relations and Marketing
• Assist with press releases, email campaigns, and website content updates.

Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience: 2–3+ years in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables and formulas required).
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage databases and prioritize multiple assignments.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
