Production Manager

Our company, an established womenswear company, is looking for a Production Manager - Walmart to join their team in NYC!


RESPONSIBILITIES:‍

• Label approved samples and prepare them for customer approval.
• Oversee all aspects of production from start to finish
• Organize and maintain WIP calendars for each season.
• Create product and Vendor Purchase Orders using the in-house system.
• Understand production timelines and ensure smooth collaboration across all cross-functional teams.
• Communicate daily with vendors regarding any outstanding swatches or samples.
• Follow up daily with China factories regarding Lab Dips, Shade Bands, PPs, and TOP samples.
• Review shipping documents to ensure quantities, prices, and other details match the Vendor Purchase Orders.
• Track, follow up, and verify spec cards for TOP samples.
• Track, follow up, receive, and log all photo samples.
• Follow up on missing POs and update WIPs and MAs.
• Generate and follow up on UPC codes for QVC.
• Complete inspection detail sheets and logs.
• Generate Tech Packs, email them to the factory, log them, and send production folders.

QUALIFICATIONS:‍

• Previous experience working with Walmart.
• Familiarity with Consumer Testing Laboratories application and submission processes.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent follow-up and attention to detail.
• Ability to act as a liaison between multiple departments.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
