Store Manager

Our client, a sustainably focused women’s lifestyle brand, is seeking a Store Manager to join their team in New York! This person will lead and inspire a talented team, ensuring a top-tier customer experience while driving store performance. They’ll focus on developing team members, streamlining operations, and executing strong merchandising strategies to create a successful and engaging retail environment.

Responsibilities:‍

• Drive store performance by achieving sales goals, managing expenses, and maintaining financial health.
• Strategically plan and execute business initiatives to support monthly, quarterly, and annual growth.
• Build a strong team through recruiting, training, and professional development to support long-term business success.
• Provide coaching, mentorship, and individualized growth plans to empower team members and cultivate leadership potential.
• Ensure accountability by setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and implementing training programs.
• Oversee visual merchandising, executing store layouts that align with brand directives while responding to business trends.
• Maintain high visual and operational standards, ensuring product placement and inventory levels support customer needs.
• Optimize store productivity through efficient scheduling, payroll management, and inventory controls.

• 5+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences and fostering a service-driven culture.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively.
• Excellent organizational and operational capabilities, with a detail-oriented approach.
• Proven ability to recruit, lead, and develop top-tier retail talent.
• Enthusiasm for the brand, its products, and core values.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 40 pounds.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
