Corporate Staff Accountant

Our client, a leading global investment firm managing a diverse portfolio of limited partnerships, is seeking a Corporate Staff Accountant with strong skills in accounting, organization, administration, and communication. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about the global investment sector and who have a solid background in accounting or finance. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the month-end close and quarterly reporting processes

• Assist with the preparation of year-end audited financial statements in partnership with external auditors

• Review and oversee the accuracy of general ledger accounts

• Prepare detailed schedules summarizing cash activities and balances

• Review employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies

• Manage accounts payable for both domestic and international operations

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and portfolio company peers as needed

• Work alongside leadership to improve and streamline financial procedures

• Contribute to special projects as needed



Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience, with a preference for backgrounds in private equity, public accounting, or corporate finance

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Proven experience with NetSuite and Concur, and familiarity with other financial software is a plus

• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Solid understanding of GAAP

• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently

• CPA certification or candidacy is strongly preferred

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and interact with internal and external stakeholders
