Corporate Staff Accountant

Our client, a dynamic and prestigious global investment firm, is looking for a talented Corporate Staff Accountant. If you have strong accounting, organizational, and communication skills, along with a keen interest in the fast-paced world of global investments, this is an exciting opportunity to join a great team and make a meaningful impact in a never-evolving field.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and portfolio company peers to drive seamless communication and operations

• Manage accounts payable for both domestic and international entities with precision and efficiency

• Review employee expense reports to ensure full compliance with company policies while maintaining a keen eye for detail

• Reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the board

• Play a key role in month-end close and quarterly reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

• Prepare comprehensive schedules that highlight cash activities and balances, providing clear insights into financial health

• Assist in preparing year-end audited financial statements, working closely with external auditors to ensure smooth audits

• Partner with leadership to continuously improve and optimize financial procedures and workflows

• Take an active role in exciting special projects, contributing to the growth and success of the organization

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience (public accounting or private equity preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

• Proficient in NetSuite, Concur, and advanced Microsoft Excel

• Strong analytical skills with solid GAAP knowledge and attention to detail, enabling data-driven decision-making

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders

• Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy

• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, offering effective solutions in fast-paced environments

• CPA certification or candidate preferred”
