Accounting Manager

Our client, a luxury womenswear brand, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in NY!

Responsibilities‍

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with industry standards.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business strategy.
• Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications‍

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within luxury fashion or retail.
• Proficiency in accounting and retail software (e.g., QuickBooks, RLM, Shopify, JustWorks).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

$90,000-$110,000 depending on experience
