Account Manager

Our client, an expanding kid's apparel company, is seeking an Account Manager - Walmart to join their team in NYC!


Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Walmart, managing day-to-day communications and relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive growth and profitability within Walmart accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including sales, merchandising, supply chain, and marketing to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
  • Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage forecasting, inventory levels, and replenishment strategies in coordination with Walmart’s supply chain team.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and trade agreements to optimize profitability and brand visibility.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as sales, margins, and on-shelf availability to ensure targets are met.
  • Utilize Walmart’s Retail Link to analyze data, generate reports, and make data-driven business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in account management, preferably within Walmart or other major retail accounts.
  • Strong understanding of Walmart’s business model, including Retail Link and Omni-channel strategies.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building strong retailer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools.
