Production Manager

Our client, a juniors and missy sportswear company, is seeking a Production Manager to join their team in New York!

Responsibilites:‍

• Oversee all aspects of the production process, from design development to final product delivery.
• Work closely with design teams, suppliers, and manufacturers to develop and maintain production schedules.
• Ensure production timelines and budgets are met while optimizing efficiency.
• Negotiate costs, lead times, and production terms to maintain quality while maximizing cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and resolve any production issues, including delays, quality concerns, and supply chain disruptions.
• Monitor material and finished goods inventory to prevent shortages and production bottlenecks.
• Manage and support a team of production coordinators and assistants to ensure smooth workflow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve production processes and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications:‍

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management within the fashion industry; Walmart experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing, supply chain logistics, and production workflows.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills to manage vendor relationships and cost structures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and production management software (PLM systems preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a sharp attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with internal teams and external partners.

$85,000-$120,000 commensurate of experience
