Retail Production Coordinator

Our client, a company specializing in luxury knitwear, is looking for a professional and dependable temporary Production Coordinator to join their Downey, CA team for 3 months!

Responsibilities:
• Sample Management - Requesting, tracking, and managing all samples, from prototypes to top-of-production (TOP) samples.
• Ensuring samples are received on time and meeting quality standards.
• Creating, revising, and maintaining sample orders.
• Daily communication with overseas vendors and factories regarding development, production, and delivery.
• Managing vendor relationships and onboarding new vendors.
• Issuing purchase orders to factories/vendors.
• Monitoring production progress and delivery status using work-in-progress (WIP) charts.
• Updating and alerting the team of any late deliveries or shortages.
• Ensuring timely execution of the product development/production calendar.
• Coordinating lab tests of fabrics, garments, and final goods inspections.
• Attending pre-production and production meetings.
• Preparing required reports.

Requirements:
• Cut & sew design and domestic experience required, import is a plus!
• This is an on-site role. Candidates should be based in the greater Los Angeles area to be considered.
