Director, Music Supervision & Administration

A leading entertainment studio is looking for a Director, Music Supervision & Administration to support our Post-Production team by managing, curating, and overseeing all music-related assets and processes for our alternative programming. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail-oriented, administrative-heavy environment and brings creative expertise to enhance the music experience across various shows. 💼 Type: temp 📅 Duration: ~3 months 💰 Pay: $48-67/hr 📍 Location: Remote; PST hours preferred Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage all owned music and sound effects assets Provide administrative support for music libraries, including registration, tracking usage, and submitting claims Supervise music cue sheets for all productions Curate show-specific music selections based on creative direction Ensure music clearance through internal processes or by contracting third-party supervisors Maintain and track music contracts to ensure all rights and paperwork are up to date Guarantee that all music rights are secured and current across platforms What We’re Looking For: 2-4 years of experience in post-production or music supervision Strong knowledge of post-production workflows and music industry standards Experience with music supervision and production music publishing in unscripted TV Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with macOS Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred Knowledge of Pilotware and FileMaker Pro is a plus Please submit your resume for consideration.
