Project Consultant - Product Sourcing

A Beauty Retailer is looking for a highly organized and proactive Sourcing Operations Project Consultant to support cross-functional initiatives across third-party risk, sustainability, and supplier diversity. This role will play a critical part in managing end-to-end sourcing processes. You'll streamline reporting, improve vendor performance, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.

Pay: $45/hr

Duration: 04/28/2025 to 10/27/2025

Location: Remote



Key Responsibilities:‍

• Develop and manage project plans and timelines for sourcing and contracting initiatives
• Support full reporting activities by gathering, evaluating, and distributing key sourcing data
• Identify and evaluate diverse suppliers with the goal of increasing category spend diversity
• Track compliance and advocate for progress in sustainability and risk management efforts
• Communicate project status, milestones, and risks to key stakeholders
• Collaborate across departments to support goals around supplier diversity, sustainability, and third-party risk
• Maintain clear and organized documentation for all projects

Qualifications:

• Proven expertise in Supplier Sustainability, Supplier Diversity, and Third-Party Risk Management
• 2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing project management
• Exceptional prioritization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong relationship-building and change management skills
• Excellent communication abilities, including written, verbal, and interpersonal interactions with senior stakeholders
• Advanced skills in Excel, data analysis, reporting tools, and project visualization software
