HR Generalist

A leading private equity firm is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable HR Generalist to support its high-performing team. This role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has experience in benefits administration, employee relations, and HR compliance. This role does not include payroll responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding HR matters and office operations.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of new employees.
• Support benefits administration, including annual open enrollment.
• Maintain and organize employee records in both digital and physical formats.
• Oversee new hire orientations to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
• Address internal and external HR-related inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
• Manage office operations, coordinate with building management, and liaise with third-party vendors.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Provide hands-on HR support, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
• Oversee background checks and ensure recruiting and hiring practices adhere to legal requirements.
• Assist in coordinating team-building activities and company events.

Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of Human Resources experience in a corporate or financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and compliance regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
• Bachelor’s degree required, with a 3.0+ GPA preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
