Project Manager - Merchandising Space Optimization

A leading cosmetic/retail brand is seeking a temporary project manager to support its merchandising space optimization team. This role will focus on optimizing merchandising layouts, ensuring accuracy in space planning, and maintaining key data for a segment of retail stores. This position requires a detail-oriented, highly organized professional who can manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Type: Temporary
Duration: 03/04/2025 to 04/12/2025
Pay: $47.20-48.82/hr
Location: Remote; PST hours preferred

Key Responsibilities:‍

• Planogram Creation: Develop and implement planograms to enhance merchandising strategies, focusing on product placement and visual presentation.
• Data Management: Maintain and update databases of store layouts, branded spaces, and fixture allocations to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Issue Resolution & Progress Tracking: Monitor project timelines, identify potential challenges, and communicate progress updates to key stakeholders.
• Merchandising Strategy Support: Gain a thorough understanding of merchandising principles and business objectives to optimize space utilization effectively.
  

Qualifications:‍

• 1-2+ years of experience in retail, merchandising, operations, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Blue Yonder space planning software, with the ability to create and adjust planograms.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting capabilities.
